I don't remember the last time I participated in Work-In-Progress Wednesday; so let's just start fresh today...shall we.
My proverbial plate:
- Trust Circle Quilt
- Neutral Plus Quilt
September was my month as Quilter for the Trust Circle of do.Good.Stiches, a quilting bee which makes blocks and then donates the finished quilts to charity. I asked for a low-volume strip block, 24" long. I'm hoping to turn it into something like this when all is said and done.
My Sister, after seeing this photo on my Pinterest board, asked if I would make her a quilt. While I'm still adjusting to the palette of neturals; which is outside my comfort zone as I'm usually all about scrappy prints, I am intrigued to see this come together.
Hmmm...did you see this coming? I'm working on another pixel quilt. One reason, aside from the obviously addicting nature of these, is because I was invited to visit a guild in Ottawa, Canada. I'll be doing a mini-workshop on my Pixeling process. I'm excited to break out my passport again. If you missed all the hoopla on my first pixel quilt, it is recapped in this post...Pixeling...(The Finale)...Continued.
There are several other things on my plate, including quilting several tops that I talked about way back in January of this year, in an earlier WIP Wednesday post. Those might have to wait for a cold winter's day when I'm stuck inside with nothing else to do.
I encourage you to check out what others are working on, by visiting Lee's WIP Wednesday post.
